Over the holidays The Economist launched an audio and video library, a collection of interviews, conversations with our correspondents, news summaries and also articles read straight from the paper. We have been writing words for more than 160 years, but recording them for only three. The library marks an intent to apply the same rigour to our audio and video that we have to our prose.
