AS HE settles into life on the back bench-es, Liam Fox has the consolation of a partly, though not wholly, salvaged reputation. He resigned as defence secretary on October 14th after it was revealed that his friend, Adam Werritty, who had no official role, had posed as Dr Fox's adviser and met him 40 times in 16 months at the Ministry of Defence (mod) and on foreign trips.
