FRUGAL FUTURE

Healthcare in Asia faces a number of challenges today. Developed societies with ageing populations are worried about soaring healthcare costs. For developing economies, on the other hand, improving access to basic health services remains the most urgent concern. But there is one common challenge facing both developed and emerging economies: Making quality healthcare affordable and inclusive. To debate these issues and possible solutions, an array of senior healthcare stakeholders congregated in Singapore on August 2nd 2011 for Economist Conferences' Healthcare's Innovation and Efficiency Agenda forum, supported by UPS.
