DEMOLITIONS TO STAY ELEVATED UNTIL 2022

The IMO tanker fleet comprised of 4,424rnvessels of 107.6 mdwt at the end of Aprilrn2018 – an increase of 11 vessels comparedrnto the fleet in March. Three IMO tankersrnwere scrapped in April 2018, which makesrnit a total of 19 demolitions in the first fourrnmonths of 2018, compared with overallrn24 demolitions in 2017. We estimate thatrndemolitions will stay elevated until 2022.
