In the hope that it's not too late, the environment theme in all its related variations, from sustainable to renewable, has begun an official new phase in architecture: a technological style expressing theme-related design constraints. And so, now that the summit meeting in Copenhagen has attempted to produce a successor treaty to the expiring 1997 Kyoto Protocol, while we train ourselves to separate our daily garbage and learn to drive electric cars, architectural design is moving toward energy efficiency.%Sperando che ormai non sia troppo tardi, il tema dell'eco-compatibile, con tutte le desinenze del caso, da eco-sostenibile a eco-rinnovabile, ha ufficialmente inaugurato una nuova stagione anche per l'architettura: nella definizione di uno stile che esprime formalmente vincoli di progetto sostanzialmente tecnologici.
