Three-quarters of big third-party logistics (3PL) providers were profitable last year, and most expect double-digit growth over the next three years. That's according to 21st annual survey of 3PL CEOs conducted by Northeastern University and Penske Logistics. North American CEOs predict three-year growth of 11 percent, while CEOs of Asian 3PLs expect 16 percent growth. In Europe, mired in a slump, the forecast is for growth of 8 percent.
