Fred Halliday: Engagements, Languages, Myths and Solidarities

Numerous are the legacies bequeathed by the life and work of Fred Halli-day. His words, broadcast and published in half a dozen languages, had a greater impact on the understanding of international issues than most public intellectuals of his generation. The breadth of his influence can be partially gleaned from the formal obituaries, testimonies, commentaries and initial academic analyses - as well as several posthumous works of his own - which have been published since his death at the age of 64 in Barcelona on 26 April 2010.
