This paper will discuss the implementation of participative management practices to initiate change in the Human Resources (HR) department of a Russian bank. These changes were introduced to incorporate a new bank strategy. According to the adopted strategy, the sales and instant loan departments had to ensure consistent growth in sales of lending and additional banking products within the first three months of 2018. However, to achieve these goals, it was important to increase the number of frontline workers over a short period. At the same time, hired employees were required to demonstrate instant results, highlighting the importance of hiring candidates with the necessary skills to achieve the company's goals.
