Based on more than twenty years of clinical teaching experi- ence, our orthopedic team created the “Hand As Foot” teaching method, whose advantage is that the anatomical relationships of nerves, blood vessels, and bony structures can be vividly explained with hands and feet, and the clinical knowledge can be intuitively grasped by using the simplest gestures. 1 Thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine and head and neck malignancies world- wide. 2 Besides, according to the Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma Guidelines, Operation is an important method to treat thyroid can- cer. In surgery, accurate nerve isolation and vascular ligation are essential for successful operation, it is necessary for us to keep in mind the distribution and course of the main nerves and blood ves- sels around the thyroid gland.
