Denial of Service Attacks on Centralized Controlled DC Microgrids: Vulnerability Assessment and Recommendations

This paper aims to provide more insight on the impact of Denial of Service (DOS) attacks on centralized controlled DC Microgrids. A mathematical model, which the author previously developed to represent microgrid stability during delays, will be utilized to investigate the impact of DOS attacks. A vulnerability analysis will be conducted to highlight the attack timing and strategy that could jeopardize the microgrid operation.
