Costs analysis for the application of optimal control to SEIR normalized models

摘要

In this paper we use optimal control techniques, combined with a normalized SEIR model, in order to establish vaccination and treatment plans to control the spread of an infectious disease. We found numerical solution and we validate them by the use of the Maximum Principle. We also consider different strategies and we analyze the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio in order to find the most effective strategy.
