In allsocieties, the generalexpectations fromphysicians haveremained universal. The physicians should betrustworthy, respectpatients, giveappropriateadvice, and communicateeffectivelywith patients, their families, and members ofthecommunity. They should remainabreast with newer developments in thefield and usethemjudiciously for improving quality ofcare. They should bean ethical, responsible, andaccountable professionals.[1],[2] Theseand manymoreattributes haveemerged sinceancient timesand are mentioned in various systems ofMedicine.
