Reducing reaction volumes has become an increasingly common method to lower NGS library preparation costs, enabling researchers to increase the complexity and statistical significance of their experimental designs without requiring an ever-expanding fraction of their funding. Core facilities have often been at the forefront of this change. This session will provide a practical guide to cores considering offering reduced volume library preparation from an expert panel of core facility staff who have successfully implemented these methodologies using several different automated solutions.
