Performance Evaluation of Transport and Logistics Graduates of Selected Institutions in South-western Nigeria

This study examined the performance of transport and logistics graduates of selected institutions in South-western Nigeria. Using some metrics, data were sought from employers of both transport and non-graduates of Transport studies of selected Universities. The metrics were used to compare the performance of the Transport graduates with that of graduates with no backgrounds in Transport Studies. Descriptive analysis was used to analyse the collected data at first, the Sample mean and Independent “t” test were used to assess the level of performance of transport and logistics graduates. The study revealed that, most transport and logistics graduates perform better in their chosen field than others who do not possess relevant certificates. This study concluded that, employers should endeavor to recruit more competent and relevant graduates who studied transport and logistics to boost their operational performance which may not require additional training costs.
