Caracterización socioproductiva de sistemas hortícolas de acuerdo a los tipos de utilización de la tierra / Socioproductive characterization of horticultural systems according to land use types

The objetive was characterize the agricultural practices of horticultural systems in El Hatico and El Turmero sectors (Miranda municipality, Mérida state) to identify the current of land use types (LUT). The technical of collection of data was the survey, using a questionnaire to 12 farmers. The date was processed using univariate statistics: means and frequencies. The farmers surveyed are between 36 and 50 years, are the owners of farms under horticultural production of high land (andean paramo), used high doses of organic fertilizers, excessive use of agrochemicals and irrigation by aspersion. Identified two LUT: commercial horticulture of diversified crops and in sequence, in cultivated areas 1.5 has up to 10 has (66.67%) and commercial horticulture of simple cropsand in sequence, in cultivated areas ≤1.5 has. It recommended proposing to farmers potentials land use types allowing a sustainable agricultural management of their farms
