摘要

In recent years, the concept of ‘One Health’ has gained wideacceptance in the scientific community as well as the attentionof the development community, policy-makers and politicians.International bodies such as the OIE, the United Nationsagencies, and the World Bank have adopted a ‘One Health’approach in their collaborative efforts to control avian andzoonotic influenza with pandemic potential and other diseasesof animal origin on both a local and global scale. More peopleare acknowledging the links among wildlife, domestic animals,ecosystems and human health, and the resulting need to addressthreats across many sectors, as well as the importance of theserelationships in global issues such as climate change and foodsecurity and safety.
