Partner for Rabies Prevention (PRP) is a multi-disciplinarygroup that comprises different stakeholders involved in rabiesprevention and control. The group meets once a year to discussglobal challenges related to rabies and to contribute their expertisetowards improving rabies control strategies at the global level.The OIE, with its relevant Reference Laboratories andCollaborating Centres, actively participates in this group, alongwith the Tripartite partners (WHO and FAO), research scientists,representatives from several rabies-endemic countries, nongovernmentalorganisations, vaccine manufacturers and donors,including private foundations.
