摘要

The aim of the Terrestrial Animal HealthCode (Terrestrial Code) is to contribute toimprove animal health and welfare worldwideand to assure the sanitary safety ofinternational trade in animals (mammals,birds and bees) and their products. This isachieved through the detailing of healthmeasures to be used by the VeterinaryAuthorities of importing and exportingcountries to avoid the transfer of agentspathogenic for animals or humans, whileavoiding unjustified trade barriers.
