The network is open and flexibleand the technical priorities are setby OFFLU experts from laboratoriesand research institutes across theworld. Strategic direction is managedby a steering committee, implementedthrough an executive committee,and the OIE and FAO provideadministrative and logistical support.This model ensures that OFFLU hasscientific credibility and that expertswork to address the most importantissues, whilst keeping in line with thestrategic goals of the OIE and FAO.
