Introduction: Hypothermia attenuates the renal injury induced byischemia-reperfusion(IR). However, the detailed molecular pathwayremains unknown. Although there has been reported that hypothermiaprotects acute renal damage, there is little known that hypothermiareduce renal fibrosis in IR kidney injury. We evaluated hypothermicprotection against renal fibrosis in renal IR injury.
