摘要

Ibuprofen (IBU) is widely used Non-steroidal Anti-inflamma-tory Drug (NSAID), analgesic and antipyretic agent. It has pooraqueous solubility leading to low oral absorption leading to bioinequivalence problem and frequent dosing causing patientnon-compliance. Improving the aqueous solubility has been re-ported to increase drug absorption which ensures quick onset ofpharmacological actions. To actualize this, IBU was nano-for-mulated into solid lipid nanoparticles to reduce the drug particlesize thus enlarging the surface area.
