A portrait of Abraham Pizam

I am honoured by Dr Kozak suggestion that I write a portrait about Prof. Abraham Pizam(a.k.a. “Abe”). I have known Prof. Pizam for almost 40 years. I needed to calculate thenumber of years’ time again because it is hard to believe that so many years have gone by.Abe is the founding and current dean of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management atthe University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is definitely one of the world’s leaders inthe field of hospitality and tourism management. Since 2006 he serves as Editor-in-Chiefof the International Journal of Hospitality Management. In addition, he is a member ofcountless advisory and scientific boards and frequently appears on national TV,newspapers, and radio networks on current tourism issues.
