By comparing the photography of his two groups of theKatsura Imperial Villa, it can be seen that artificially changingsome of the photographic factors can result in two completelydifferent architectural understandings. Through several studiesof Ishimoto’s data, the author attends to see how architecturalimages affect architects' design ideas.
