ABSTRACT In Indonesian waters diverse types of Pelecypoda life. Shellfish always live in fresh water and sea with wide deployment and abundant. Generally hide in the ground which is sandy and muddy. There are live in fresh water such as rivers and lakes. The use of animal protein sources have begun to be demand by some communities in Indonesia, especially the types of Pelecypoda that have economic value. Around the Singkarak Lake a lot of activities which are done such as agriculture activity, .
