Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis Induced by Pyrazinamide in Children.

ABSTRACT We report a case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis induced by pyrazinamide in the course of anti tuberculosis therapy which is a rare complication in children. A 14 year old girl was been diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis and started on anti-tuberculosis therapy with isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and pyrazinamide. She developed purpuric lesions in the lower extremities after 4 days of anti-tuberculosis medications. Anti-tuberculosis drugs were stopped and the histopathology of purpu.
