ABSTRACT AIM: A cross sectional study was carried out to study prevalence of visual impairment and blindness among elderly people of an urban slum community of Pune cantonment, India. OBJECTIVES: (a) to carry out an ophthalmological survey amongst elderly population. (b) To determine causes of Visual impairment and blindness.
