ABSTRACT The present study was undertaken to evaluate phytochemical composition, antioxidant and HPTLC (High Performance Thin Layer Liquid Chromatography) of methanolic extract of Curcuma amada leaves. Phytochemical analysis of the plant has shown the presence of proteins, oil and fats, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and carbohydrates as major phytochemical groups.
