Retinal Hemorrhages in 4 Patients with Dengue Fever

We report 4 patients with retinal hemorrhages thatdeveloped during hospitalization for dengue fever. Onset ofsymptoms coincided with resolution of fever and the nadirof thrombocytopenia. Retinal hemorrhages may reflect therising incidence of dengue in Singapore or may be causedby changes in the predominant serotype of the denguevirus
