This paper addresses the problem of aperiodic sampled-data control of linear parameter varying (LPV) systems under input saturation. It is explicitly assumed that plant scheduling parameter can continuously vary between two sampling instants, while the control signal is computed using the measurement of this parameter only at the sampling instants. Assuming an affine parameter dependence, conditions based on the use of a parameter dependent (PD) looped-functional and a PD generalized sector approach, are proposed to compute a sampled-data LPV state feedback control law that ensures the regional asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. LMI-based optimization procedures to maximize an estimate of the region of attraction of the origin or the allowable bound on the intersampling interval for a guaranteed region of stability are proposed.
