MagneticnanoparticlesofFe3O4(magnetite)havebeensynthesizedfromnaturalsandironbyco-precipitationmethod.ThenanoparticlesweresynthesizedusingHClassolventandNH3asco-precipitate.Thenanoparticlessynthesizedat70°Cintwodifferenttreatments.SamplewithoutPolyethyleneGlycol(PEG)6000notedbyAandsamplewithPEG6000notedbyBsymbol.ThemeasurementthathavebeendoneforbothsampleswereXRD(X-raydiffraction),FTIR(FourierTransformInfrared)Spectrometry,SEM(Scanningelectronmicroscopy),VSM(Vibratingsamplemagnetometer)andSAA(Surfaceareaanalyzer).TheresultsshowedthatbothsampleswerehavingFe3O4phases.Particlesize,coercivityandmagneticsaturationofBsamplesweresmallerthanAsamples.ButthesurfaceareaofBsamplewaslargerthanAsample.BothsampleswerethenusedtoadsorbCuandPbionsusingshakermethod.AdsorptionanalysisfromAtomicAdsorptionSpectroscopy(AAS)showedthatBwasmoreeffectiveinadsorbingmetalionsthanA.TheadsorptionvalueofCuandPbionswere79and91%respectively...
