Bromothymolblue(BTB)withthemolecularformulaofC27H28Br2O5Swasgrownontop-Sisubstratetofabricateheterojunctionbyspincoatingtechnique.Thecurrentvoltage(I-V)measurementsofdiodewerecarriedoutindarkandunderdifferentilluminationintensityatroomtemperature.ThephotoelectricalpropertiesofheterojunctionbasedonBTBwereinvestigatedusingtheilluminationintensitydependentI-Vdata.Theresultsshowedthatphotocurrentofdiodeincreaseswiththeincreaseinlightintensity.Also,theelectricalparametersofdeviceweredeterminedviaI-V,andcapacitance-voltage(C-V),conductance-voltage(G-V)measurementsatdifferentfrequencies.Itisobservedthattheexcesscapacitanceiscreatedatlowfrequenciesduetothecontributionofinterfacestateschargewhichcanfollowthealternativecurrentsignaltocapacitance.Itisstatedthat,boththeelectrical&photoelectricalparametersofdiodecanbechanged,andalsotheperformanceofthedevicecouldbeaffectedbytheorganicthinfilminterlayer...
