Intended audience: Professionals involvedin caring for people with contracted (frozen) shoulder –physiotherapy teachers and practitioners foremost, but alsocommissioners/providers of healthcare, GPs, orthopaedicsurgeons, radiologists and rheumatologists. The guidelinehas been written in plain English to be accessible topatients and their representative organisations. Additionalversions: Nil. Expert working group: A 10-member groupof physiotherapists from the United Kingdom (UK) withexpertise in the shoulder comprised the expert workinggroup. Consultation with: The expert workinggroup consulted with a 14 member multidisciplinaryDelphi panel including medical specialists and patientrepresentatives from the UK. The guidelines were reviewedby the Good Practice Panel of the Chartered Society ofPhysiotherapy and five independent expert reviewers.
