On the morphological, electrical and photoelectrical properties of P3HT:F-SWCNTs based photovoltaic cells

In this study, experimental results related to the surface morphology, and photoelectricaland electrical properties of solar cells based on conductive polymer P3HT andfunctionalized SWCNTs are presented. The surface morphology of P3HT:F-SWCNTsphotoactive layers with three different ratios (99:1, 97:3, and 94:6.0 wt., %) of P3HT:FSWCNTs,was analyzed and an increase of root mean square roughness values with theincrease of added F-SWCNTs percentage was observed. The current-voltage (I-V) curvesacquired in dark conditions showed a good diode behavior for all fabricated solar cells,with relatively small values of saturation current for solar cells structures based on theP3HT:F-SWCNTs (97:3) and P3HT:F-SWCNTs (94:6) photoactive layers. The actionspectra measurements of prepared solar cells samples were drawn and discussed takinginto account the induced changes of added weight percentage of F-SWCNTs inphotoactive layer.
