MODELING OF HYDRAULIC CYLINDER PISTON ROD SEALING / MODELOWANIE USZCZELNIENIA T?OCZYSKA SI?OWNIKA HYDRAULICZNEGO

摘要

The paper is related to research on leakage of a piston rod U-type elastomeric sealing ring. Results of FE analysis and the test rig for verification of the simulation results is presented. For the analysis ANSYS system was used. The achieved results allow to predict leakage rate for different operating conditions and can also be useful in studies concerning wearing processes of elastomeric sealing rings.
