Curative effect of H-UPPP in the treatment of adult OSAS patients and its influence on serum inflammatory medium

Objective: To discuss the curative effect of H-UPPP in the treatment of adult OSAS patients and its influence on serum inflammatory medium. Method: A total of 118 cases of adult OSAS patients, who were treated in our hospital between June,2014 and July, 2016, were selected and retrospective analysis was performed for their surgical methods, and these patients were divided into control group(n=57) with UPPP treatment and study group (n=61) with H-UPPP treatment. Curative effect, ventilation resistance and systemic inflammation differences in both groups were compared. Results: Clinical treatment effective rate in study group was significantly higher than that in control group. One month after surgery, Zrs, Rc, R5, R20 levels in both groups were lower than those before surgery, and the decrease degree in study group was greater than that in control group; 12 h after surgery, proinflammatory mediator contents such as hs-CRP, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-17, IL-23 in the serum of both groups were higher than those before surgery, and the increase degree in study group was lower than that in control group. Conclusion: Curative effect of H-UPPP in the treatment of adult OSAS patients was superior that UPPP's, and early postoperative inflammation response of H-UPPP was lighter, and H-UPPP also has advantages in surgical high efficiency and minimally invasive.
