摘要

Microencapsulated-Cu(acac)2 [MC-Cu(acac)2] is found to be an efficient catalyst for the multicomponent condensation reaction of aromatic aldehyde, β-naphthol and amide to form the corresponding amidoalkyl naphthols in good yield. Moreover, the catalyst could be recycled for four times without the significant loss in yield and selectivity of the product. The remarkable features of this new one pot C-C and C-N bond forming reaction procedure are high conversations, operationally simple and eco-friendly and economically inexpensive method.
