Aromatic plants represent ingredients in alcoholic and therapeutically beverages dating back to the ancient history. As botanicals present new perspectives in creating new innovative spirit drinks, focus must be to the possible side effects related to the contaminants and their possible interaction with drugs or alcohol. Researches on aromatic plants provide support in establishing new legislative aspects.
