ThisarticledescribestheroleofadigitallibraryinajointeducationalMasterofScience(MSc.)programmeinvolvingorganizationsinGhanaandtheNetherlands.AbriefintroductionoftheInternationalInstituteforGeo-InformationScienceandEarthObservation(ITC)andKwameNkrumahUniversityofScienceandTechnology(KNUST)isfollowedbyanoutlineofthejointeducationalMSc.programmedevelopedbythesetwoinstitutions.Thedigitallibrarysupportprovidedinthisjointprogrammewillbedescribed,andobservationsresultingfromexperiencesdeliveringtheprogrammearesummarized.Thearticlealsoprovidesgeneralcommentsontheimportanceoflibrariesinbuildingdigitalpartnershipsbetweenorganizationsindevelopedandlesstechnologicallyadvancedcountries.
