Successful management of perforated duodenal diverticulum by use of endoscopic drainage

Duodenal diverticulum is the most common typeof small-bowel diverticulum, and adverse events involvinga perforated duodenal diverticulum historically haverequired operative management.1 We present a case ofperforated duodenal diverticulum, which was managedwith endoscopic drainage, and propose this as analternative to operative management.
