The appearance of the XML has raised many problems regarding the effcientobtaining of information from di.erent XML remote sources trough Internet. A semantic cachetechnology can improve the effciency of the XML data querying process in Web environment.The semantic cache exploits the idea of reusing the query results in order to respond to thenew queries based on some inclusion and rewriting techniques. This paper presents the designspace of the semantic cache systems and proposes a new improved formula for partial cachereplacement strategies.
