摘要

The objective of this study was to characterize and compare the water and salt soluble proteins from rat liverand muscle by using sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and sodium dodecylsulphate polymer-filled capillary gel electrophoresis (SDS-CGE). The evaluation and comparison of separations realizedwith the use of both techniques was done. It was found that although the main separation mechanism have similar in bothcases. However, it was considered that, SDS-CGE seems to have a potential to be the alternative, efficient tool for theseparation of tissue proteins based purely on their molecular weights.
