In France, shrouds of pollution regularly hang over large cities. Daily, the media report renewed pollution peaks exceeding alert thresholds and attribute them to fine particles, to dust of various composition suspended in the atmosphere (coming from wood and oil heating, industry, engines -especially diesel engines in town). Consequently, is it not the case that the measures taken to combat such pollution peaks are merely hiding inconsistencies and blockages at various levels?
