Impact Of Baseline Nutritional Status On Induction Toxicities And Post Induction Minimal Residual Disease In Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A Single Centre Experience

Patients on ICICLE protocol who are MRD positive at the end of consolidation still have a chance to achieve long term survival if they continue to receive therapy without transplant. Though follow-up is limited, it offers a ray of hope for those patients who achieve a late re- mission. Conclusion: Concurrent administration of TKIs like Imatinib during HDMtx infusions may adversely affect Methotrexate clearance, and potentially contribute to toxicity and treatment delays. There is a need to study this effect further and evolve strategies to minimize its impact on outcomes.
