Very long term follow-up data of pediatric acute promyelocytic leukemia treated with upfront arsenic-trioxide based regimens

Combination of all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) andarsenic trioxide (ATO) is currently considered the standard of care in themanagement of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). There is limited longtermfollowup data on the use of ATO inpediatric population. Atourcenterwe have been using ATO based regimens to treat pediatric and adult pa-tients with APL since 1998 and hence we undertook this retrospectiveanalysis to evaluate the long term clinical outcomes and toxicity profile inthe pediatric cohort.
