Morbidity due to infections during maintenance chemotherapy for children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia- single centre study from India

Background: The disease-free survival in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) has improved dramatically. However, with the use of prolonged chemotherapy, especially in boys who receive an additional year of maintenance, the risk of recurrent viral infections is high. We aim to analyze the type of infections and its impact in our cohort.
