A single-centre experience of treating children with Burkitt lymphoma using FAB LMB protocol

Records of patients with haematological malig-nancy with T.B were reviewed for the demographic and disease profile,basis of diagnosis, response and duration of ATT, toxicity, outcome andeffect on subsequent chemotherapy. Of the total 230 patients (ALL/NHL-194, HL-36 during last four years seven patients of microbiologically and/or histologically proven (except 7) T.B were identified. All cases were beinginvestigated and managed for febrile neutropenia. The diagnosis of T.B wasconsidered only after failure of response to antibiotics expect in case 2 and6.
