ThevariationsoftheorbitalperiodsoftwoAlgol-typeeclipsingbinaries,TLMiandRWMon,arepresentedthroughadetailedanalysisof$$(O-C)$$diagrams.Itisfoundthat,apartfromaseculardecrease,severalsuddenjumpshaveoccurredintheorbitalperiodsofbothbinarysystems.Theperioddecreaseratewasderivedtobe$$-1.12 imes10^{-8}$$d/cycleand$$-$$1.456$$ imes$$10$$^{-9}$$d/cycleforTLMiandRWMon,respectively.Suchalargerateisimpossiblyexplainedbyangularmomentumlossandmasslossduetomagneticstellarwinds.Thesuddenjumpsintheorbitalperiodsofbothstarsmightbecausedbyarapidmassexchangebetweenthecircumstellarmatterandbinaries.Atlast,theevolutionarytrendofthetwoAlgol-typesystems,whoseperiodsdecreasedcontinuously,isdiscussed.TheirevolutionaryoutcomemightbeWUMastars.
