Wereportfindingsfrom0$$''!!!.$$2resolutionobservationsofthe2007October03quiescentprominenceobservedwiththeSolarOpticalTelescopeontheHinodesatellite.Theobservationsshowclearejectionsfromthetopofthequiescentprominenceofplasmablobs.Theejections,originatingfromthetopofprominencethreads,areimpulsivelyacceleratedtoapproximatelyAlfv??nvelocitiesandthenundergoballisticmotion.Theejectionshaveacharacteristicsizebetween$$sim$$1000a€“2000km.Thesecharacteristicsaresimilartodownwardlypropagatingknots(typicalsize$$sim$$700km)thathavebeenobservedinprominencethreads,wesuggestthattheplasmablobejectionscouldbetheupwardmovingcounterparttothedownwardlypropagatingknots.Wediscussthetearinginstabilityasapossiblemechanismtoexplaintheejections.
