The assembly has a unique bench-support for supporting two optical instruments and two star trackers, where the instruments are lidars, radars or telescopes (1, 2). The bench-support is composed of two individual support plates (3A, 3B) assembled in a rigid manner. An optical part of the telescope (2) comprises an annular mirror (8) arranged on a surface of the bench-support, where the annular mirror is made of Zerodur(RTM: inorganic, non-porous glass ceramic).
