ZnOnanoparticlesweresynthesizedbytworoutes:co-precipitationandsol-gelmethod.TheZnOnanoparticleswereinvestigatedbymeansofX-raydiffraction,scanningelectronmicroscopy,FouriertransforminfraredspectroscopyandUV-VISspectroscopy.XRDanalysisshowedthattheZnOnanoparticleshaveahexagonalcrystallinestructure.Theaveragecrystallitesizewasaround64nmforthesamplesynthesizedbyco-preciptationmethodand43nmfortheonesynthesizedbysol-gelmethod.nbsp;OpticalpropertiesofsynthesizedZnOnanoparticlesrevealedthatthesampleobtainedbyco-precipitationmethodhasabandgapvaluearound3.30eVandthesampleobtainedbysol-gelmethodaround3.27eV.
